Police squad attacked near Thessaloniki university

A squad of riot police officers was attacked on Wednesday afternoon near the Biology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
According to information from the scene, at approximately 4.30 p.m. a group of unidentified assailants threw rocks at the officers before fleeing the scene. State broadcaster ERT reports that there were no injuries while the police did not engage the assailants.
