A moratorium on pre-election activities ahead of Sunday’s general election comes into force at midnight Friday.

According to electoral law, on the day of a parliamentary election, as well as on the eve of one, all gatherings and other pre-election activity, such as making speeches, posting and distributing posters and leaflets, broadcasting programs and messages with pre-election content and pre-election activity on the internet, is prohibited.
