Thessaloniki to bolster police patrols

Thessaloniki is set to increase the number of patrolling police officers, Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis announced on Friday.

Following a meeting with the police’s deputy chief, Lieutenant General Paschalis Syritoudis and various city police chiefs, the minister said that the provision would see an additional 150 officers patrolling the streets as well as 75 additional traffic officers.
