Magnitude 4.2 earthquake rattles Crete

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake rattled the southern island of Crete on Monday morning.

According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the quake’s epicenter was located 51 kilometers north of the island’s capital, Irakleio. The estimated depth was 14 kilometres.

No injuries or damage have been reported.
