PAOK fans linked to drugs, robbery, freed
Five men belonging to a group of fans of PAOK soccer club were released from custody by a Thessaloniki prosecutor on Sunday after answering to charges to drug trafficking and robbery.
The five men were among six to face the prosecutor today in a case that began with 35 suspects being arrested last week after a police raid uncovered evidence suggesting that this particular club was responsible for a number of attacks against rival clubs in the northern port city, as well as for distributing narcotics.
So far, 20 of the 34 suspects have been released pending trial, with the final group scheduled to face the prosecutor today.
