Help at Home, for elderly and disabled, received extension
The Help at Home scheme, which provides assistance to some 80,000 elderly and disabled people, will be extended until September 30 this year, it was agreed on Friday at a government meeting.
A replacement program will be prepared in the meantime.
About 3,500 social workers are employed in the current scheme.
