One men was shot dead in Patra, western Greece, on Saturday, taking the number of people to be murdered in drive-by shootings in the port city to three in four days.
The 38-year-old victim was found dead in a car, while another man, aged 31, was found seriously wounded close by. Witnesses said they saw two men in another vehicle stop next to the victim’s car and then open fire. Police found more than 10 bullet casings at the scene.
On Tuesday, two men were shot dead outside a nightclub in Patra after being hit by 28 shots fired by their murderers. There were also two gunmen involved in that incident but they were riding a motorcycle.
