Albanian police seize Greece-bound drugs

Albanian border police on Monday seized 200 kilos of cannabis during an operation carried out near the town of Korca.

According to reports the drugs were discovered in two vehicles and were heading to the Greek market. The drivers of both cars managed to flee and avoid arrest.

Meanwhile, in the first half of 2013 border police in Korca confiscated over a ton of cannabis allegedly destined for Greece.
