PM to meet ministers ahead of Israel trip on Monday
Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, who returned from a six-day official visit to the US on Friday, is to meet with key ministers at the Maximos Mansion in Athens on Saturday at noon ahead of his planned visit to Israel on Monday.
Samaras is expected to seek a full briefing on developments regarding an ongoing crackdown on the ultra-right Golden Dawn as well as progress in efforts to meet so-called «prior actions» demanded by the troika in exchange for further rescue funding before he sets off for Israel on Monday.
Rounding off his visit to the US on Friday with a speech at the Hellenic Initiative in New York City, Samaras said he planned to discuss efforts by Greece, Israel and Cyprus to exploit energy resources in their region during his visit to Israel.
