Venizelos to meet Palestinian Authority officials in Ramallah
Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos is due to visit the seat of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah on Wednesday for talks with President Mahmoud Abbas, Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah and Foreign Minister Riad Malki.
Venizelos, who is also deputy prime minister, is to meet earlier on Wednesday with Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilos. That is to be his last meeting in Israel where he is accompanying Prime Minister Antonis Samaras on an official visit. Samaras and several key ministers are to participate in a high-level Greek-Israeli ministerial council and explore prospects for business cooperation. Around 100 Greek entrepreneurs have joined Samaras’ delegation.
