Three more Golden Dawn suspects held
Three of the four members of neofascist Golden Dawn suspected of attacking Communist Party supporters in Perama, western Athens, last month were remanded in custody on Friday.
One of the suspects was alleged to have been the leader of Golden Dawn’s Perama cell and to have organized the attack, which left six people needing hospital treatment. He was also allegedly involved in the murder of rapper Pavlos Fyssas a few days later.
Also on Friday, two men aged 47 and 48, were arrested in Corinthia, west of Athens, after weapons and neo-Nazi literature were found at their homes.
Their four sons are accused of being part of group of 10 men wearing Golden Dawn t-shirts that attacked two victims aged 24 and 26 in June.
