Three face charges in Athens over massive cocaine haul
A prosecutor on Wednesday brought criminal charges against three men who were arrested on Tuesday in connection with a 230-kilogram cocaine haul in the southern Athens suburb of Voula.
The suspects – a Greek man from Kalamata, a Colombian-born Canadian citizen and a Mexican national – are to answer to an investigating magistrate in the coming days on a string of charges related to running a criminal organization and drug trafficking and could face life in prison.
