Hospital nurses, ambulance workers to walk off the job for four hours
State hospital nurses and ambulance workers are to walk off the job between 8 a.m. and noon on Thursday to protest what they describe as chronic staff shortages on the occasion of International Nurses Day.
The federation representing public hospital workers (POEDIN) yesterday lashed out at the government over understaffing and accused the Health Ministry of cronyism in recruitments.
