New bonds
The motto of a “multifaceted foreign policy” has taken form with the relations cultivated recently by Athens, exemplified by Tuesday’s Trilateral Summit with Cyprus and Egypt.
In tandem with its defense deals and its agreements delineating maritime zones, Greece has been strengthening its ties with neighboring countries in development sectors and broadening its geopolitical footprint.
This energetic diplomacy is the best defense.
