The causes of the inflation driving up prices may be external, but what must certainly be held in check in the domestic framework is any effort to use global inflation as an excuse for profiteering.
The complaints that have already started pouring in about excessive costs and prices need to be investigated to the fullest degree.
And anyone found guilty of such antisocial profiteering practices needs to be brought to task and exposed to their customers.
