Moroccan feast at the St George

The spices that flavor the cuisine and once colored the elaborate textiles of Morocco are the inspiration behind the Moroccan Cultural, Gastronomic and Touristic Festival, which is being hosted by the St George Lycabettus Hotel in Kolonaki from Wednesday, May 4, to Saturday, May 7.

Highlighting the virtues of this North African kingdom, the event will include Moroccan delicacies, music performed by the Chabab al Andalus orchestra from Rabat, as well as a fashion show presenting a unique collection of caftans and pret-a-porter creations by established Moroccan designers Zahra Yaagoubi and Nabil Dahani. Greek designer Constantin Antoniadis will also present pieces of his own that have been inspired by Morocco.

The program for May 4 will be limited to the opening ceremony. The following two days, May 5 and 6, will be dedicated to food with a buffet dinner (including drinks), which is priced at 60 euros per person, and live music.

On May 6, for the same price, there will be a lunch followed by the fashion show, while on the final day (price 55 euros), the meal will be a sit-down dinner.
