Angelos Spachis | Athens | To November 20
Self-taught artist Angelos Spachis (1903-60) is hailed as the father of graphic design in Greece and has given us some of the country’s most iconic brand identities, packages and advertisements. The National Library of Greece (Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, 364 Syngrou, Kallithea) pays tribute to this influential pioneer with an exhibition that seeks to acquaint the public with the excellent work of the often-overlooked artist. Admission is free of charge and opening times are from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
