Panepistimio metro station closed ahead of protest rally

Greek Police (ELAS) ordered the temporary closure of Panepistimio metro station in central Athens at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The decision was made in view of a protest rally staged by university students against the government’s education reforms to be staged in the area at 1 p.m.

Trains passing through the station will not make a stop.
