Foreign national arrested in Sparta faces kidnapping charges in Moldova

A 43-year-old foreign national was arrested on Wednesday in Sparta, southern Greece on a pending international arrest issued by authorities in Moldova.
According to the police, the suspect is accused of violent crimes and a kidnapping that took place in 2014, in Moldova.
He was to appear before an appellate prosecutor in the town of Nafplio.
