Piraeus container workers cancel strike

The Union of Piraeus Port Dock Containers Workers (ENEDEP) announced late Wednesday the cancellation of its 48-hour strike that began on December 1.

The union said that employers assured them in writing that negotiations are to start immediately regarding raising wages and working hours.
