Large wildfire breaks out in western Attica

A wildfire broke out on Tuesday afternoon in a forested area in Haidari, a suburb in western Attica.
The Fire Service said 70 firefighters with 23 vehicles have mobilized, along with two teams on foot, two aircraft and two helicopters.
Volunteers have also joined the efforts to contain the blaze which is located in an area known as Kounelia.
