Patra man dies in hospital waiting to be examined

A 69-year-old father of three children died Wednesday while waiting to be examined in the emergency room at the University Hospital of Patras in the western Peloponnese, according to a report on local news site Gnomi.
The man was taken to the hospital by his wife with severe stomach pain. It was not clear how long he waited in the emergency room but when the time doctors began to treat him he suffered a cardiac arrest and died.
