Crete: teenager who tried to strangle sister remanded in custody
A prosecutor on Crete has ordered a 17-year-old accused of attempting to strangle his sister to be remanded in custody.
In the alleged incident, which occurred early on Monday morning, the teenager tried to choke his 18-year-old sister, who managed to escape from her attacker and call her mother for help.
The mother then informed the police about her son, who reportedly has attacked her as well as his other siblings in the past.
