Turkish UAV flies over Kandeliousa

A Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle violated Greek airspace on Sunday by entering the Flight Information Region of Athens without submitting a flight plan and flying over the island of Kandeliousa at 1.55 p.m.

The drone flew over the island, located west of Nisyros, at 19,000 feet.

The drone was identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules of engagement.
