Thessaloniki teen hurt in hit-and-run

A 13-year-old was injured on Tuesday morning after being hit by a car at the Kalamaria district of Thessaloniki, in northern Greece.
The incident took place at about 7.30 a.m. at the corned of Plastira and Passalidi Streets, a local news website said. The unidentified driver fled the scene of the accident.
An ambulance took the teen to the Ippokrateio Hospital for treatment, but there were no further details on the extent of the boy’s injuries.
