Ionian Islands warned of thunderstorms

Residents of Kefalonia, Ithaca, and Zakynthos were warned on Tuesday of dangerous weather phenomena at night by text message through the 112 European Emergency Number.

Civil Protection warned that the Elias weather phenomenon will bring powerful thunderstorms and hailstorms as of Tuesday night, and it advised following directions by authorities.
