Elderly man’s body recovered from sea off southeastern Attica

Coast guard officials in Lavrio have launched an investigation after a man’s body was recovered from the sea off the southeastern coast of Attica.
Firefighters on Wednesday removed the body from the water near Hryso Feggari beach at Lavreotiki.
The body, that of an elderly male who was wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt and underwear, was removed to Sotiria general hospital in Athens. [ERT]
