Power outage in Hania after thieves steal cables
The municipal lighting network in the area of Stavros, in the municipality of Hania, Crete, stopped working on Monday after unknown assailants dismantled the area’s entire underground electric cable system.
Local authorities were expected to press charges against the unknown perpetrators of the theft and ordered the local department in charge of the network to repair the damage as soon as possible.
