Hymn to Freedom | To April 24

In celebration of the bicentennial of the Greek Revolution, the Athens Concert Hall is streaming a performance by the Meizon men’s choir of “Hymn to Freedom.” The renowned poem by Nobel laureate Dionysis Solomos has been adapted for a polyphonic choir by Nikolaos Mantzarou. The ensemble is conducted by Agathangelos Georgakatos and accompanied by Stathis Soulis on the piano.
