Young American jazz sensation Samara Joy shot to fame in 2019 after winning the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. In early 2023 she won two Grammy Awards for her album “Linger Awhile” and has come to be viewed as a successor to jazz legends Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.
