La Traviata | Athens | July 27-31
The Athens leg of the Athens Epidaurus Festival concludes with a star-studded performance of “La Traviata” at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus (Dionysiou Aeropagitou Street) from July 27 to 31. Directed by avant-garde choreographer Konstantinos Rigou, the performance will bring to life Verdi’s timeless tale of the tragic romance between the Parisian courtesan Violetta and the young bourgeois Alfredo, set against the backdrop of 19th century Paris.
