Number of university spots to be announced this week
The number of spots for new admissions at Greece’s universities is expected to be announced this week, as high-school seniors prepare to sit national university entrance exams, starting in mid-June.
According to the Education Ministry, the number of slots is expected to be similar to last year’s 78,000 admissions.
This year’s candidates will have fewer options, however, as the number of departments will be reduced from the current 430.
