Athens tram drivers to walk off job
Tram drivers in Athens will walk off the job for four hours on Friday from 10 a.m. until the end of the shift.
In an announcement, the drivers’ union protested that their concerns regarding the maintenance of the minimum safety standards have not been heeded by transport authorities.
The union said that drivers have kept services running over the past 2.5 years through their own “superhuman efforts.”
