Self-tests no longer required at schools

Pupils will still be required to wear masks, but self-tests for Covid-19 will no longer be needed when classes resume next Tuesday, May 3.

Testing for the coronavirus will be limited to those showing symptoms.

If a pupil is tested positive for Covid, all classmates must self-test on the first and fourth days after the diagnosis.

The pupils taken ill will return to school no sooner than 24 hours after the fever has subsided.
