Man’s body found in Athens park
The body of a man was discovered in the Pedion tou Areos park in central Athens on Tuesday afternoon.
According to reports, a park employee notified police after noticing a body hanging from a tree. It is believed that the man took his own life.
Earlier, a man was found with knife injuries in the same park. He was subsequently taken to hosptail for treatment.
It is not clear if the two incidents are connected.
