Police investigate angler’s death
Police in the northeastern prefecture of Serres are investigating the death of a 67-year-old angler whose body was found on the banks of the Strymonas river on Friday morning.
The man’s body was spotted by a relative, who had been looking for him since Thursday.
There are no signs of suspicious activity and police in the town of Irakleia are awaiting the results of an autopsy. [AMNA]
