Three suspects sought for robbing homes after drugging elderly residents

A court in Volos, central Greece, on Thursday issued arrest warrants for three Roma women believed to be responsible for robbing three homes in the city after drugging their occupants.

The three suspects are accused of posing as sales representatives for a juice company and offering a cash prize if the residents of the homes they approached could guess its flavor.

The juice was laced with a narcotic substance that rendered the targets unconscious.

An elderly couple and two women told police that they had fallen victim to the ruse, which allegedly allowed the suspects to ransack their homes for cash and valuables.

All three suspects already have police records.
