Bringing some festive cheer to the northern city, over 30 people on SUPs took to the waters of the Thermaic Gulf on Saturday dressed in Santa outfits.

Operation underway to seal breach in the stern of museum ship ‘Velos’ after bad weather

An operation began on Sunday morning to seal a breach in the stern of the historic Hellenic Navy destroyer “Velos,” which sustained damage while docked at Thessaloniki’s Nea Paralia waterfront on Saturday due to strong winds blowing in the area.
