Daycare workers suspended for locking toddlers in storage room

Two daycare workers at a kindergarten in the port city of Alexandroupolis, northern Greece, were suspended and an inquiry has been opened by the municipal authorities after they were accused of locking children in a storage room to discipline them. 




Prosecutor wants guilty verdict for girl’s mother

The prosecutor in the trial over the sexual abuse and exploitation of a 12-year-old girl in Kolonos, Athens recommended that the judges in a mixed jury find the child’s mother guilty, after a two-month process that took place behind closed doors.
